What it is used for

Rust and compliance

Rust is one of the most common reasons an imported vehicle fails inspection, particularly on vehicles from countries that salt their roads in winter. Surface corrosion is usually manageable. Corrosion in a structural area is a different matter, and it has to be dealt with properly — which often means a repair certificate as well.

The value of blasting is that it removes the guesswork. Once the underbody is clean you can see exactly what you are dealing with, rather than finding more of it halfway through a repair.

Commercial dust extraction

The extraction system matters for two reasons: it keeps the working environment safe, and it keeps blast media and debris out of the rest of the vehicle. A vehicle does not leave here full of grit.
